Come together to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi as we acknowledge the past, engage with the present, and celebrate the enduring spirit of partnership, culture, and connection in Aotearoa. Showing daily and screening on loop, we have the special film - He Tirotiro Whakamuri - A Treasured Glimpse of Waitangi, from Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision.
Look back through historic highlights at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds from 1934 and 1990. All are welcome to listen, learn, and reflect as we mark this important day together.
As an extra special offer for Auckland residents only, the Māori Cultural Experience - Living Taonga will be free on Waitangi Day, Friday 6 February. In this immersive experience, you will be introduced to Māori culture and traditional art forms by a group of esteemed indigenous artists and orators. Our Māori Cultural Experience will take you on a journey of discovery and learning. This offer is subject to availability and only bookable onsite at our ticket desks.

In this immersive experience, be introduced to Māori culture by a group of esteemed indigenous artists and orators. Our Māori Cultural Experience will take you on a journey. You will hear beautiful songs, see incredible poi skills in action and learn about the endurance of Māori people throughout history.
